Service · India's leading program

Hospital-grade dialysis. Your living room.

Nephrologist-supervised, end-to-end. Born during COVID when centres shut down — now the standard of care for patients who want their evenings, weekends, and dignity back.

What it is

What home hemodialysis really means.

Home hemodialysis is the same therapy as in-centre hemodialysis — same machine class, same ultrapure water, same prescription rigour — delivered inside your home, on your schedule.

It is not a downgrade. It is, by many clinical measures, a step up: longer sessions, more frequent runs, gentler ultrafiltration, better blood pressure control, lower medication burden, and dramatically better quality of life.

Renacare's programme grew out of the COVID crisis when patients couldn't reach centres. Today it's India's leading home dialysis service — with a nephrologist watching every prescription, a trained partner at every session, and 24×7 backup.

"We did not invent home dialysis. We made it safe, supervised, and scalable in India — because we had to."

How we do it differently

Hospital-grade. At home. With a doctor.

Home dialysis is only as safe as the supervision behind it. Ours runs hospital-deep.

End-to-end setup

Water, machine, training, supplies

We install a hospital-grade RO water unit, deliver the same machine class used in our centres, train your family partner, and stock all consumables monthly.

Nephrologist-supervised

Remote review of every session

Your nephrologist reviews session logs, ultrafiltration, blood pressure trends, and labs every week. Prescription changes happen the same way they would in-centre — just remotely.

24×7 backup

A doctor on the phone, always

Cramping, alarm codes, access issues, missed sessions — there is a kidney doctor and a technician on the phone within minutes, any hour, any day.

Built during COVID

Born from crisis, scaled responsibly

We didn't theorise home dialysis. We did it under fire in 2020 because patients were dying without it. That clinical scar tissue is built into every protocol.

What to expect

From sign-up to your first home session.

Most patients are running their own sessions at home within 4–6 weeks of decision.

01

Clinical assessment

Nephrologist reviews your history, current access, home space, and a family partner who'll assist. Suitability is decided clinically, not commercially.

02

Home survey & install

Engineering team surveys plumbing, electricals, and space. RO unit, machine, and supplies are installed. Total downtime: roughly a day.

03

Training & shadow sessions

You and your partner are trained over 2–3 weeks — cannulation, machine, alarms, hygiene. First sessions run shadowed by a Renacare technician.

04

Solo runs + remote supervision

Once cleared, you run sessions independently. Nephrologist reviews logs weekly. 24×7 phone backup. Monthly home visits and supply restock.

Frequently asked

Questions worth asking.

Before you start a treatment anywhere — these are the questions to ask. We've answered ours.

Is home dialysis safe without a doctor present?
It is safe with the right supervision — which is what makes the Renacare programme different. Every session is logged. Every log is reviewed by a nephrologist. There is always a doctor on the phone. We never leave a home patient alone with the technology.
Who operates the machine — me or a technician?
Most patients run sessions with a trained family partner. Our training programme certifies you both. Some patients prefer to have a Renacare technician present for every session — we offer both models.
Will my house space and electricals work?
We survey your home first — free of cost — and tell you exactly what's needed. Most homes need only minor plumbing for the RO unit and a dedicated electrical point. We handle the install.
What does home hemodialysis actually cost?
It depends on session frequency, consumables, and machine model. Long-term, frequent home dialysis is often cost-comparable to in-centre HDF — with vastly better quality of life. Call +91 98181 83957 for a written quote.
