In-centre dialysis

A dialysis chair with a nephrologist on the floor.

Fixed-slot in-centre hemodialysis across 7 units in Delhi NCR. Same prescription, same records, every visit.

What it is

The treatment, in plain language.

In-centre dialysis is hemodialysis you receive at a clinical unit rather than at home. Most patients are scheduled for three sessions per week — Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday — for roughly four hours each. The unit provides the machine, water, consumables, nursing care and direct nephrologist supervision. For patients who don't yet have a home setup or a trained partner, this is the most common starting point. At Renacare, the difference is that a senior nephrologist reviews you in person every shift — not just monthly. Cramps, low BP, access issues and prescription changes happen on the floor, by a consultant who knows your case.

Who it's for

Is this the right treatment for you?

  • If you are starting dialysis for the first time and want full clinical supervision.
  • If you live in a multi-generational home without space for a machine.
  • If your fistula or catheter is new and still being monitored.
  • If you have unstable blood pressure and need staff on hand each session.
  • If a family member can drop you and pick you up on a predictable schedule.
How Renacare does it

BCM-guided dry weight

Body composition monitoring takes the guesswork out of dry weight — fewer cramps, fewer hypotensive episodes.

What to expect

A real session, step by step.

Plan for 5 hours door-to-door. You're weighed, vitals checked, then cannulated by a senior nurse. The session runs for about 4 hours — eat, scroll, sleep, watch something. The nephrologist reviews you mid-session and signs off changes. You're de-cannulated, weighed again, given discharge notes, and home by evening. For ECHS, CGHS and PMJAY patients, paperwork is handled in-house. Cashless TPAs clear within 2-4 hours of pre-auth submission.
