In-centre dialysis

A dialysis chair with a nephrologist on the floor.

Fixed-slot in-centre hemodialysis across 7 units in Delhi NCR. Same prescription, same records, every visit.

What it is

The treatment, in plain language.

In-centre dialysis is hemodialysis you receive at a clinical unit rather than at home. Most patients are scheduled for three sessions per week — Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday — for roughly four hours each. The unit provides the machine, water, consumables, nursing care and direct nephrologist supervision. For patients who don't yet have a home setup or a trained partner, this is the most common starting point.

Who it's for

Is this the right treatment for you?

  • If you are starting dialysis for the first time and want full clinical supervision.
  • If you live in a multi-generational home without space for a machine.
  • If your fistula or catheter is new and still being monitored.
  • If you have unstable blood pressure and need staff on hand each session.
  • If a family member can drop you and pick you up on a predictable schedule.

What is Hemodialysis?

Hemodialysis performs the essential work of your kidneys when they can no longer function adequately. During treatment, your blood is circulated through a dialyzer (artificial kidney) that removes toxins, excess fluid, and maintains the correct balance of minerals and electrolytes. Most patients require hemodialysis three times a week, with each session lasting about four hours. It helps control blood pressure, reduces swelling, improves energy, and eases symptoms related to kidney failure — making it a vital part of long-term care.
